MUSIC fans both young and old are in for a treat this Easter holiday when a phenomenally successful tribute show takes to the stage in Skegness.
The fantastic ABBA and Bee Gees tribute show Thank You for the Music will roll into Skegness this Saturday evening at 7.30pm.
It is one of the UK’s favourite touring concert shows and features ABBA Magic – performing million-sellers including: Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper, Waterloo and Winner Takes it All, and Bee Gees Magic – performing number one hits like Stayin’ Alive, Massachusetts, Night Fever, How Deep is Your Love.
They also perform million-sellers penned by the Bee Gees for other artists including Islands in the Stream, Heartbreaker and Chain Reaction.
“Since the show’s creation in 1997 Thank You For The Music has gone on to become one of the UK’s most popular concert shows on the theatre circuit,” said a spokesperson.
“This authentic production is performed completely live and the dance routines and costumes are a mirror image of the original artists.
“The Thank You For The Music show has been playing sell-out concerts for more than ten years now.
“From the show’s inception we have made annual minor changes in the show to it keeps its zest, vitality and audience appeal.
“The investment in costumes and sets has never been spared in an effort to bring you the best in concert entertainment.
“The fans of Thank You For The Music range from six to sixty and regularly dress up for the occasion.
“So polish up your platforms, unfurl your flares, hitch up your hot pants and prepare for a night of hit-packed entertainment that will have you dancing in the aisles all night long,” they added.
The show will be performed in the Embassy Theatre this Saturday (April 16).
Tickets cost £21.50p for adults, £20 for over 60s and £16 for children.
