Advice on Christmas trees at Louth Garden Centre

PEOPLE wishing to buy a traditional Christmas tree are invited to go along to a garden centre in Lincolnshire next month for some free advice on the topic.

Louth Garden Centre in Legbourne Road is offering customers complimentary assistance with regards selecting and caring for real Christmas trees on December 10 and 11.

Jane Allen-Chilman, Manager of the garden centre, explained: “Also during the weekend, Gardening Club members and people who sign up to our complimentary Club will be offered a free glass of non-alcoholic, spiced berry punch and roasted chestnuts, while stocks last.

“We take great pride and care in sourcing the best quality cut and potted trees. We stock a huge range and offer expert advice to help people choose the right tree. We will also be able to offer tips on how to look after your tree, so it lasts into the New Year.

“Tips will include advice on how to improve air circulation, how to prevent the tree from overheating in the middle and how to avoid needle loss.”
