Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue crews from Alford have been among those tackling a large fire at a farm on the A52 at Chapel St Leonard’s this afternoon.
Crews from Alford and Skegness were scrambled to he blaze around noon today involving six stables, all of which have been all but destroyed.
The fire also severely damaged 14 metres of fencing but it has been confirmed that no animals were injured.
Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue said two hose reels were used and also reported moderate hear damage to a fascia board on a bungalow.
Breathing apparatus were also worn by crew.
The cause of the fire is believed to be a spread from a nearby manure heap.
