Anna Henderson is the first lucky winner to bag a haul of prizes from local businesses in the first Eastgate loyalty card scheme.
The scheme which was promoted by Louth Town Partnership was carried out between March 31 and April 26 where shoppers had to spend a minimum of £5 in a number of shops in Eastgate to receive their loyalty cards and a winner was chosen from all these Love Louth shopper.
Participating stores in the loyalty scheme included Robinsons Greengrocers, Jacksons Butchers, McColls Newsagents, Colorgrapfix Kodak and Clarks Shoes.
Anna moved to Louth in August 2013 and was the overall winner of £150 worth of free items from these shops and was delighted to have won.
She said: “I am absolutely thrilled to have won and I really enjoy shopping in Louth and supporting these excellent local businesses who provide quality products, alongside a professional service.
“It was a really great incentive and I really enjoyed participating and a big thank you to all the shops that provided all the prizes, it was really overwhelming to receive so many.”
Participating business owner, Richard Nightingale added: “All of these quality prizes that we as businesses gave out just goes to show how much, we are businesses appreciate the custom of shoppers.”
Louth Town Manager, Nicola Marshall said: “We helped all these businesses to promote this shopping incentive and they all came together on their own to devise the loyalty card scheme to promote the shops along Eastgate. This was the first big test of the scheme and now that it was a success, it is something that can be built on in the future.”
