Despite a damp, muddy morning - 150 walkers joined together to take part in the annual Round Louth Walk - raising over £700 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Walkers laced up their boots ready to begin the walks which set off from Hubbards Hills in Louth- having the option of taking part in the two, six or 14-mile events.
A grand total of£716.62 raised on the day.
The event was organised by the Louth Macmillan fund raising group.
Linda Judd, group leader for the Louth Macmillan fund raisers commented after the event: “A big thank you goes out to all who supported and braved a damp muddy morning to help raise funds for our local macmillan group.
“Also, thank you as always to Brackenborough Hall for the use of the toilet facilities and drinks for those walkers tackling the 14 mile circuit.
“Also thank you too to the many dog walkers who popped change into our collection tin and asked about the event.
“Lastly a huge thank you to Jamie Davenport, our area manager for his help on the day.”
