Attempted street robbery in Mablethorpe

Police are appealing for information following a attempted street robbery in Mablethorpe.

The incident happened around 11.30am on Tuesday August 26. A member of staff from a local pub was making his way along the High Street to take cash to the bank when he was pulled into an alleyway and pushed to the ground by a man. The offender attempted to grab the victim’s bag but eventually ran off empty handed.

The 30 year-old member of staff suffered cuts and grazes to his knees and arms during the incident and was shaken.

The offender is described as in his early 20s, of skinny build, and wearing a hoodie with a scarf over his face.
