To commemorate the centenary of the start of the First World War, Louth Playgoers are proudly presenting the award-winning play ‘Journey’s End’ by R.C. Sherriff at the Riverhead Theatre in March.
In 1928, Sherriff drew on his own experiences of life on the front-line at Vimy Ridge and Messines Ridge in 1915. He used his own memories to portray the seriousness of the situation, whilst showing the men’s amazing sense of humour.
Playgoers’ production will run from Monday March 16 until Saturday March 21, each evening at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be purchased from the Riverhead Theatre Box Office on Victoria Road, or by calling 01507 600350 between 10am-1pm, Monday to Saturday. Tickets can also be booked online at www.louthplaygoers.com.
General tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for under 18s. For Riverhead Theatre card holders they are £7 for adults, £4 for under 18s.
