Thousands of visitors flocked to Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea over the weekend and helped to make this year’s Bathing Beauties Festival a success.
Despite the Continental Market having to be cancelled at the last minute, organisers sprung into action and rallied together an alternative local market.
Operations manager for MAP CIC (Mablethorpe Area Partnership Community Interest Company) Karen Froggatt said: “The beach huts were full with artists and crafts people and the entertainment, both the live music and street theatre was well received by the crowds.
“The weather was kind and the pyrotechnic display wowed the crowds. A fabulous weekend on the coast. MAP CIC would like to say a big thank you to all volunteers who helped to make the festival such a great success.”
