A Louth pensioner appeared at Lincoln Crown Court charged with murder this afternoon (Monday May 18), and was remanded in custody until August.
As reported previously, Lynn Stallard, 66, of Eastfield Road, Louth, is accused of the murder of Louis Spires, 68, whose body was found at a house in Eastfield Road on Friday May 15.
At Lincoln Crown Court this afternoon, Stallard spoke only to confirm her name. No plea was taken.
Judge Michael Heath remanded her in custody to appear back before the Crown Court on Friday August 14.
Earlier, at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court, Stallard wept throughout a two minute during which she only spoke to confirm her name, date of birth and address.
Although the defendant was charged under the name Lynn Meakin, she gave her surname as Stallard in court.
