The sentence of a police officer from Ludford, who has admitted downloading pornographic images of children, has been adjourned until later this month.
Kenneth Dymond, 36, was due to have been sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court today (Thursday June 2) but Judge John Pini QC adjourned the hearing to allow time for the preparation of a probation report.
Dymond, of Magna Mile, Ludford, previously admitted 10 charges of making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child.
Dymond, a detective constable with the Metropolitan Police Service, was bailed to appear back in court at his sentencing hearing.
The Specialist Crime and Operations Command officer is currently suspended from the Metropolitan Police Service, and misconduct proceedings have been suspended pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings.
