BREAKING: Police believe body in Mablethorpe ditch may be missing local man

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in a water-filled ditch near Quebec Road, Mablethorpe, on Saturday morning (September 6).

At this time the death remains unexplained. Whilst the body is yet to be formally identified, Lincolnshire Police believe that the body may be that of local man Darren Fitzpatrick, aged 46.

Darren had been reported as missing to the Police on September 3, but had not been seen by his family since August 28.

Police are appealing to anyone who has seen Darren since August 28, or who has other information about him, to contact the Police.
