AN APPLICATION was made by Lincolnshire Police to review the premises licence of Kai’s Bar in Mablethorpe.
The application was heard at Monday morning’s Licencing Act 2003 Sub-Committee of East Lindsey District Council.
The police asked for 11 amendments to the licence in total but only two were imposed by the sub committee.
These, which were proposed by owners Kurnia, included installation of a tamper resistant CCTV system at the premises, with a condition requiring recordings from the CCTV system be handed over to the police on request in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Recordings must also be kept for 14 days and endorsed with the accurate time and date.
Michael Kheng, director of Kurnia, represented the company during the three hour meeting.
