A Cancer Research UK charity box was stolen from a pharmacy in Newmarket, Louth, earlier this week.

The theft from PharmacyWise was reported at around 7.30pm on Wednesday (April 27).

Louth Run For Life wristbands and World Cancer Day bands were being sold at the pharmacy, with all funds due to go to Cancer Research UK.

One money box was stolen, while cash from the other money box was also taken.

It is believed that a total of around £50-60 was stolen from the two charity money boxes.

Louth Run For Life organiser, Simon West, said that he was “very annoyed and upset” that someone would “stoop so low to steal from a charity box”.

Lincolnshire Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any information regarding the theft.
