An Austin A35 car will be going to auction in Louth next week, after being owned by the same local family since it was bought new in 1958.
The Austin A35 (registration SBE 48), belonged to Miss Dorothy Wilkinson who passed away last year - and she had inherited it from her mother.
Miss Wilkinson’s family were well-known in the area for having a bakery and confectionery business in Eastgate, which closed in the 1970s.
The car will be up for auction on Tuesday March 8 at John Taylors Auction in Louth, and it is expected to sell for between £500 and £800.
