A NUMBER of local groups have applied for funding from Natwest’s Community Force programme which will soon see three causes in our area receive £6,000 each.
Community Force was launched in July in an effort to support charities and causes in areas served by Natwest and RBS banks. Nearly 6,000 applications were received overall and 66 of those were in North Lincolnshire.
Those nominated in our region are Louth Cricket Club, Louth Run for Life, Louth Town Partnership, Louth Dolphins Swimming Club, Louth and District Hospice, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and Louth Branch of Cruse Bereavement Care and Saltfleet Sports and Social Field.
Tom Ryan, NatWest’s local CEO for North Lincolnshire, said: “The response to the launch of Community Force has been incredible and it was great to see so many applications received from local charities and good causes.
“The voting is now open, and it is really important to me to ask the local community who should win these awards.”
