Charity skydive for Diabetes UK

THRILL-SEEKER Charlotte Tuplin intends to free-fall into the unknown by undertaking a skydive and raising money for charity.

Charlotte, 17, from Louth was diagnosed with diabetes in 2003 and now wants to give something back and raise funds for a cause which has become very close to her heart, the charity Diabetes UK.

She would also like to raise money for the diabetes ward at Grimsby Hospital.

Charlotte said: “I’ve been wanting to take on the challenge of doing a skydive and I really wanted to give something back to an extremely worthwhile charity so I thought why not just combine the two?”

She plans to take on the big tandem jump in August at the skydiving centre in Hibaldstow, near Brigg.

Charlotte’s aim is to raise £400.
