Meet a group of local young people who are determined to make a difference.

They are taking part in NCS (National Citizen Service) with the aim of giving something back to their community. The group plan to create a memory scrapbook filled with the fond memories of Louth people to ‘capture the spirit of Louth and preserve it for future generations’.

The group also plan to host a fete in the Town Hall for all ages on Saturday November 23 for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

“Everyone is welcome,” said George Croft, aged 17, from the team.

“Please come along and help us raise money to help the community. Our chosen charity is Guide Dogs for the Blind.”

The fete runs from 10am to 3pm in the Ballroom of Louth Town Hall.
