Lincolnshire County Council and Sustrans are inviting residents to share their ideas and have a say on plans for a Lincolnshire coastal cycle link.
Community consultation meetings are taking place this week.
One is taking place this evening (Tuesday, March 17) from 4-8pm at Anderby Village Hall, another on Wednesday, March 18, 4-8pm at Saltfleet Social Centre and a final one on Thursday, March 19, 4 until 8pm in Skegness at Church Farm Museum.
The Lincolnshire coastal access study is intended to look at current cycle facilities along the Lincolnshire Coast from Saltfleet to Gibraltar Point and will link the following:- Mablethorpe, Trusthorpe, Sutton on Sea, Sandilands, Chapel St Leonards, Ingoldmells, Skegness and Gibraltar Point.
Consultation with user groups is not just limited to cyclists and will include working with local horse riding groups and other potential users of such a route.
This will allow Sustrans and Lincolnshire County Council to get a better understanding of people’s transport needs when it comes to cycling and walking along the Lincolnshire Coast.
In order for this study to be completed Sustrans need your ideas, expert local knowledge and input to any proposal.
We extend a warm invite to all residents and local stakeholders from the local area and look forward to seeing you at our community consultation events.
