Cordeaux School pupils support Hollie Arnold at Paralympics

A GROUP of 100 Cordeaux students and staff visited the Paralympics at the Olympic Stadium.

Organised by teacher Simon Bowman, the group set off at 5am to watch former pupil Hollie Arnold participate in the javelin final.

Hollie achieved a personal best and finished fifth in the competition.

Headteacher Peter Kubicki said: “We are all immensely proud of Hollie’s success. The whole experience was inspirational for the pupils.”

Pupil Kieran Jaines said: “It was an amazing day.”
