The following grants have been awarded to charities and organisations in our area, as part of East Lindsey District Council’s ‘Councillor Community Grants’ scheme.
Councillor George Horton awarded £500 to Louth LIVES First Responders towards the cost of an oxygen cylinder.
Councillor Tony Howard awarded £237.60 to Friendship Lincs to buy an electronic bingo machine suitable for use by people with additional needs.
East Lindsey District Councillors Stephen Palmer and Anne Veasey have awarded a Councillor Community Grant worth a total of £1,000 to Sutton Rovers Football Club, which will go towards a charity ‘Knockout’ competition hosted by the club.
Councillor Ed Mossop awarded £600 to Alvingham and District Village Hall to buy a book trolley, sewing machine and toaster to benefit people accessing the Community Matters project.
Councillor Jean Bradley awarded £500 to Bilsby and Farlesthorpe Parish Council towards restoration of the village war memorial.
Councillor Sandra Harrison awarded £437.13 to St Helen’s Parochial Church Council, Theddlethorpe, to replace damaged chairs. She also awarded £180 to Theddlethorpe Village Hall to replace the existing boiler house door.
