THE countdown has begun for the 13th annual Round Louth Walk.
It will be held on Sunday January 8 and people can choose between a two mile, six mile or 14 mile route.
This year organiser David Bolland is holding it to raise money for Sparks.
This leading children’s medical research charity is dedicated to funding and championing pioneering research into any condition affecting mums-to-be, babies and children.
Since 1991 they have committed over £20 million into pioneering research projects across a wide spectrum of medical conditions including childhood cancers, cerebral palsy, premature birth and spina bifida.
Registration for the walk costs £5 which includes a route map and charity badge.
Go along on the day between 10am and 11am to register at the Hallington Road entrance to Hubbard’s Hills.
Last January the walk raised £1,437 for the charity CLICSargent, which helps children with cancer.
Over the years walkers have raised £1,000s for good causes.
