County to be pilot area for scheme

PEOPLE will soon have a greater voice for their concerns about health and social care services in the county.

Secretary of State for Health, Andrew Lansley, has announced that Lincolnshire is to become a national pilot area for the HealthWatch Pathfinder scheme, following a successful application by the Local Involvement Network (LINk) and Lincolnshire County Council.

The new HealthWatch body will be an independent group of volunteers representing the public. It will react to feedback from patients and service users.
