Burglary at the Greyhound pub in Louth

Police are appealing for witnesses after the Greyhound public house in Upgate, Louth was burgled.

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 3am this morning (Friday) after the landlords were alerted by the alarm going off.

The offenders had gained entry to the premises by smashing a window and then attacked the gaming machine.

It is believed there were two male offenders, who were tall and wearing dark clothing, and who then left the vicinity on foot.

Anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in Louth during the early hours of this morning should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting the incident number 37 of August 23.
