Criminal damage to Sutton on Sea beach chalet discovered by patrolling police officer

A police officer on a routine patrol discovered criminal damage to a beach chalet in Sutton on Sea on Sunday.

PC Andy Barlow is appealing for information about the incident which happened within the last two weeks on the South Promenade.

PC Barlow was on patrol near the chalet around 1am on Sunday when he discovered that window had been smashed and some of the timber structure had been damaged.

It is not known precisely when the damage occurred but the chalet was last seen intact by the owners a fortnight before.

Anyone with information should contact PC Barlow by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 28 of May 19.
