Police are warning people to review the security at farms and outbuildings and be vigilant following two rural farm burglaries overnight.
A Lincs Alert has been issued by PCSO Sally Hewitt of the Louth Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team.
In one incident a shed and a teleporter were broken into in Yarburgh overnight last night (Friday), however it is not believed that anything had been stolen.
Also overnight, a shed at a farm near South Cockerington was attempted to be broken into. Entry was not gained and nothing has been stolen.
PCSO Hewitt said in her alert: “Please review the security at any farm / outbuildings and be vigilant. Report any suspicious behaviour to Lincolnshire Police immediately on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
Anyone with information should refer to incident 181 of March 26, 2016, for the Yarburgh incident and 112 or March 26, 2016 for the South Cockerington incident.
