MABLETHORPE are set to play their part in Monday’s D-Day 67 year remembrance services which will take place around the country.
The Royal British Legion branch in the town have organised a service at the war memorial led by local vicar Alison Harvey.
A number of Normandy veterans will be present to remember their comrades who died as the allied forces stormed the beaches of Northern France in 1944.
All are welcome to attend the service which will get underway at 11am.
