On Saturday August 10, the Down Your Wold project team invites people to Buildings of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an afternoon all about the historic buildings of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The event is being held at St Andrew’s Church, Utterby, from 2pm for a 2.30pm start.

Following a fascinating talk on the buildings of the Lincolnshire Wolds, there will be a leisurely walk of around one hour, through the village of Utterby looking at fine examples of architecture found in the village. We expect the event to finish around 4.30pm to 5pm.

The guest speaker at this session is Elizabeth Mayle, an architectural historian. Elizabeth has extensive knowledge of the buildings of Lincolnshire having worked in the county as a heritage expert who specialises in historic buildings for many years.

The event is free and is open to everyone. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Teas, coffee and biscuits will be provided in the church at the beginning of the event.

Places on the session are limited, so please get in touch to book your place.
