East Lindsey District Council grant for Louth Museum exhibition

A GRANT of £200 has been given to Louth Naturalists’, Antiquarian and Literary Society to help to stage a national exhibition of Thomas Wallis woodcarvings at Louth Museum.

Coun Jill Makinson-Sanders arranged the money through the East Lindsey District Council Councillor Community Grants scheme.

Other recent grants awarded include –

l Coun Makinson-Sanders has given £100 to the Louth Seniors’ Forum towards the hire of the Conoco-Philips Room in Louth and services of a caretaker for their quarterly open meetings.

l Coun Adam Grist has given £250 to Elkington Parish Council for the replacement of fencing around the village war memorial.

l Coun Grist has also contributed £300 to Tathwell Church to buy a new strimmer for grounds maintenance.
