A NUMBER of Schools in Louth have been affected by today’s strike action over pensions within the public sector.
Around 2 million people today will be part of the strike which is happening all across the country.
Secondary Schools, Cordeaux, Monks Dyke and King Edwards Grammar School are all partially open today.
Cordeaux is open to years 10, 11 and the sixth form.
Monks Dyke is only open to the sixth form and King Edwards Grammar School is partially open but if parents are struggling to arrange childcare arrangements, the school is open to everyone if needs be.
With the Primary Schools in Louth today, Lacey Gardens, Kidgate and St Michaels all are closed today.
