LOUTH youngster Ellie-Mae Watts’ parents Lee and Stacie are celebrating after raising £6465.34 for charity.
Their nine-month-old Ellie-Mae has Down’s Syndrome and a heart defect, and the fun day which raised the money was inspired by the youngster.
£1,934 of the final total came from from Barclays Bank which was paid to charity and the rest was split between the Down’s Syndrome Association and Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Stacie said: “Me and Lee would also like to personally thank Stuart and Sharon Burton, Stefanie Burton, Lindsey Smith, Ben Thomas and Deane Standland for their amazing support and help with the arranging of the funday and for looking after Tyler whilst Ellie Mae under went life saving surgery.
“Also to the rest of our families and all local businesses and friends that donated gifts, activities and their time on the fun day to help us make it such a success.”
