With another bank holiday weekend coming up at the end of May, district council run outdoor swimming pools and chalets will be open and available to the public during the May bank holiday weekend.
For those with little ones who like to splash about in the water the district douncil’s open air paddling pools can be found at Queen’s Park in Mablethorpe and by the Pullover in Sutton on Sea. They will open on Friday, May 23 and remain open until September 30 – weather permitting.
And, for those wanting somewhere to relax during their day on the beach, the District Council’s 71 beach chalets at Central Promenade and Queen’s Park in Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea Central Promenade will open on Saturday, May 24 until the end of September.
The council’s portfolio holder for culture, leisure and tourism, Coun Adam Grist said: “With warmer weather predicted, we are concentrating on the forthcoming tourist season, marked by opening our open air pool, paddling pools and beach chalets.”
