The Louth branch of the Workers’ Education Association (WEA) will hold a new course on ‘A Short History of Lincoln’.

The course offers students a brief outline of the history of Lincoln over the past two thousand years.

There will be a mix of illustrated information giving, group discussion, optional student presentation and background reading.

The course will be six weeks in the classroom, and the seventh week will be a walking tour of Lincoln.

The tutor is well know historian and teacher, Dr Richard Gurnham.

The venue is Salvation Army Hall, in Church Street, Louth, and the course will start on Thursday January 21 for seven weeks. The time is 10am until 12 noon, and the fee is £53.90
