Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary is now extending its opening hours so customers are able to get extra viewings of what this local business has to offer.

Usually the seal sanctuary wraps up its opening hours until next year, but due to the unusual amount of good, mild weather we have been having for this time of year, owner of the sanctuary, Dennis Drew has decided to keep this popular attraction open.

Dennis told the Leader: “We have decided to keep the seal sanctuary open throughout every weekend in November so customers can enjoy a weekend out visiting the seals.

“As the weather has been surprisingly good for the time of year, we might even possibly keep opening at weekend’s throughout December as well depening on weather conditions.

“We thought we may as well let people keep on enjoying the seals and everything else we have to offer for as long as possible.”

As well as the many seals the sanctuary has, it also has a nature centre which includes meerkats, birds of prey, emus and even an education room and much more. The seal sanctuary has also decided to stay open to coincide with the seal watching at Donna Nook which is one of the highlights locally during this time of year, attracting thousands of visitors.

You will not regreat a visit to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary which offers a unique nature experience.

You can walk through two acres of sand dunes, it is located only 50 metres from the sea and you can gain first hand experience of some of the county’s most stunning wildlife.

To welcome customer’s back over the winter season, the seal sanctuary is also offering a winter special promotion on admission prices, giving you great value for money with great savings.

Prices for the next few weeks are £4.50 entry for adults, £2.50 for children and £3.50 for concessions.

There is also a gift shop, light refreshments on offer and the premises is wheelchair and pram friendly with an onsite adjacent car park.
