Lincolnshire County Council is providing a temporary waste collection service for residents in Mablethorpe over the busy summer months.
This has been put in place in order to make it easier for locals to dispose of their waste.
The service will operate from Enterprise Road, Mablethorpe and will be available to residents until the end of September.
Operating times will be from 8am until 12 noon every Saturday.
Residents will be able to dispose the following materials: general household waste including bulky items, green garden waste, cardboard, plastics, paper, glass including bottles and small electrical items.
Trade waste will not be accepted.
Sean Kent, head of environmental management said: “We’ve been keen to implement this service for Mablethorpe for some time. It will be easier for residents to dispose their household waste over the summer.
“This is a pilot project, and we’ll evaluate how useful and popular it is. If we find the service being abused by trade waste being dumped there, or fly tipping, it will be withdrawn.”
