The annual Lincolnshire Young Farmers Rally was held in Covenham on May 16, with members of the public turning out in their droves to join in the fun-filled occasion.
This year’s theme was ‘family’ and, on the day, there were plenty of stalls, exhibits, and competitive events to keep everybody happy.
These events included cross cut sawing competition, ladies car wheel change, male ironing, egg throwing, and tug of war - which was won by the Louth YFC men’s team.
However, overall, the Louth club came joint second with Harmston, and North Holland YFC won.
Organiser Holly Howell said that it had been an “extremely successful” event, with around 800 people visiting throughout the day - making it the best attended Lincolnshire Young Farmers Rally for many years.
Louth Tractors were the main event sponsors, bringing an impressive collection of farm equipment as a centre point attraction.
Special thanks go to the organisers Miss Penny Shaw, John Smith, Louth Tractors, Young Farmers members, coordinators, and everyone who went along on the day.
