Former Sutton Rovers player Robbie to be honoured by charity football match

LATE former player Robbie Timmins will be honoured by a memorial charity football match in Sutton on Sea.

Robbie died aged just 31 on June 28, and the match is being held by former club Sutton Rovers at their gala day next weekend.

Organisers are hoping ex-Sutton Rovers players will also go down and play on the night.

The event starts at 10am on Saturday, July 28 at Sutton playing fields, with a car boot sale (£5 per car), live music, BBQ, a licensed bar, charity stalls, ice cream and more.

It ends at 6pm before the evening football match which will raise money for Help for Heroes and Breast Cancer Research.

Any former players interested in taking part can contact Mark Chambers on 07989 125128.
