Black ice was thought to have been responsible for four cars colliding near Louth on the morning of New Years Day.
Police were called at around 8.30am and have described the incident as ‘four separate road traffic collisions’ on the A157 at Legbourne.
The cars involved were a blue Vauxhall Corsa, a blue VW Passatt, a black Peugeot 206 and a blue Honda Civic.
The Corsa ended up upside down but the occupants were unhurt.
There was a four-year-old girl who was also unhurt and the female driver, aged 24 from South Reston, went to Grimsby Hospital with minor bruising.
The only other driver who needed treatment for shock was the female driver of the Peugeot.
