After ten years of having her own successful beauty business in Louth - Frances Brindle is boxing up her nail polishes and waxing strips for good.

Sitting Pretty Beauty Salon, situated inside Sunkist Tanning Salon in Mercer Row, will officially close on Saturday, February 13.

Frances has decided to give her life an overhaul now she has reached 30.

She commented: “I turned 30 last year and felt like a complete change, so I thought that was as good a life point as any to make a change. I would like to thank all my customers that have kept me going for the last ten years. I truly will miss them and all the conversations I have had with so many different people, and all the holiday recommendations!”

Mrs Brindle added: “ I would also like to thank Jon at Sunkist because without the freedom of the building he’s given me, I wouldn’t have been able to work the late hours that have kept me going. Finally I want to thank my husband, mum, dad and all my family because without their support I never would have been able to set up and run my business the way that I have over the years. They’ve been brilliant and have always been there for me.”
