Freedom of Information requests to ELDC go down

A total of 145 requests were made to East Lindsey District Council under the Freedom of Information Act between April and June this year.

This compares with 171 for the same period last year.

The queries were across the spectrum of the council’s activities, but the majority were on issues relating to the environment, planning and enforcement.

According to a report, 12 requests had to be declined because they related to the activities of other authorities.
