A fundraising event in South Reston tomorrow (Saturday September 12) will raise money to buy a prosthetic foot for a German Shepherd whose foot was shot off in Egypt.
Brian, pictured, was dumped and left to die by his owner after the attack, but he was thankfully rescued by ESMA (Egyptian Society for Mercy to Animals) and has been living in his new permanent home with Brookenby residents, Jennie Cooper and Henry Parkes, since March.
The attack has left Brian with physical and psychological difficulties, and the next step to helping his recovery is fundraising to buy a prosthetic foot which is expected to cost thousands of pounds.
Jennie and Henry are aiming to raise £3,000, and you can help by donating at https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/brian-cooper
A fundraising music night will take place at the Waggon and Horse at South Reston, near Louth, tomorrow night (September 12).
The event will run from 8pm, and will include a live band, acoustics, singing, guitars and more.
Donations will be gratefully received on the night.
