Generous male voice choir

Following on from last month’s donation to the Urology department of Louth Hospital Louth Male Voice Choir has given the last two donations to of £250 each to Lincolnshire Riding for Disabled (RDA) and the Lincoln Cathedral Music Appeal. The RDA is based at the purpose built Lincolnshire Activities Centre (LRAC) at Kenwick. The cheque was presented to Jeanette Jones by Chairman Richard Keeble with Treasurer Roy Barber to Jeanette Jones. This group was established in 1996 and will soon include another unit at Ulceby.

It will have around 20 riders on their books and over 25 volunteers.

To the background sounds of the choir rehearsing for evensong, Richard Keeble presented a cheque for £250 to John Dickinson, Chairman of the Lincoln Cathedral Music Appeal.

The donation will go specifically towards the costs of the 20 boy and 20 girl choristers who are all attendees of the Minster School, some of whom board, and all of whom have daily rehearsals and or services to perform at the Cathedral.
