Get your bikes into gear and saddle up for the 16th annual Emma-Jayne Memorial Fund Bikeathon at The Royal Oak Pub in Little Cawthorpe near Louth on Sunday, July 19.
This event was set up by parents Tony and Ruth Knowles after the death of their daughter Emma-Jayne, who died from a brain tumour at just 22.
Since then, the cause has raised thousands of pounds for the neurosurgical unit at Hull Royal Infirmary that helped to treat Emma-Jayne during her final days.
The bikeathon has turned into the flagship event of the Emma-Jayne Memorial Fund, with two bike rides of 12 and 30 miles, a 3.5-mile fun walk and a 10k country run.
The bikeathon will start at 11am, with the runners dashing off from 11.15am and the walkers leaving at 11.20am.
If you do not have a bike, free bike hire is included for those who wish to have ago. Please call Ruth on 01507 441347 to arrange this.
Sponsor forms for the event are now available to download on the website via www.emma-jaynememorialfund.couk.
