Have a clear out for Age UK charity

THE Age UK charity shop in Eastgate, Louth, is appealing for readers to donate their unwanted items for the cause.

The shelves are normally brimming with intriguing items but recently donations have plummeted and shop manager Amanda is now looking for people to clear out their wardrobes and cupboards.

She said: “Our store room is normally piled high, but now it’s empty. Without continued donations of everything from clothing to cookware, Age UK cannot continue its vital work to help improve the lives of older people across the country.

“We are looking for quality items, no matter how big or small. And remember each time you donate stock to Age UK, please Gift Aid it which gives us an extra 25p for every pound we make selling your items.”

The Age UK shop can be found at 54 Eastgate, opposite Greenwoods.
