A NEW Head Boy and Head Girl have been elected at Queen’s Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Alford.

Jack Forman and Lauren Gest have been elected by students and staff, with William Houltby and Elizabeth Goolden as deputies.

The roles will see them lead the Senior Student Leadership Team and represent Queen Elizabeth’s at both community and school functions.

The posts last for a year.

School Head Angie Francis commented: “Jack, Lauren, William and Lizzie have already demonstrated that they have strong leadership ability.

“I am looking forward to working with them during the next year and I know they will be excellent ambassadors for the school and contribute much to its development.”
