PEOPLE will be able to get information and support at outreach sessions in Louth over the next month.
Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust normally runs an outreach session at Louth Library on the last Wednesday of every month from 1pm to 4.30pm – this session will now take place on Wednesday November 30 from 11am to 2pm instead.
In December a special one-off outreach session will be held at the Trinity Centre, Eastgate, in Louth on December 21 from 10.30am to 1pm.
This session will be held in conjunction with a local drop-in advice event organised by East Lindsey District Council at the same venue.
The outreach session on December 28 at Louth Library has been cancelled.
All outreach sessions will be back to the normal times from the New Year.
Fran Sharp, Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Facilitator, said: “It is great that local people have access to the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Outreach Service to find out information and ask questions about the service we provide.
“We will be on hand at each of the sessions with leaflets on a range of topics related to cancer for anyone who would like to take them away or discuss further.”
