Heartfelt 50-year’s service

THE BRITISH Heart Foundation Charity Shop, Louth are celebrating their 50th birthday throughout the month of July.

The charity shop have already marked the occasion with on-going promotions and selling 50th birthday badges.

They have also celebrated with an in-store birthday party for all their staff.

The heart foundation is now calling out to the public to celebrate with them by having heart themed parties to incorporate within anything they might already be celebrating in the July month.

This is to end their July birthday celebrations with a bang.

For more information on this you can visit their website where they have a special page dedicated to party ideas: www.bhf.org.uk.

The vision of the nation’s heart charity is a world where people don’t die prematurely from heart disease.

It aims to achieve this through pioneering research, and ensuring support for everyone living with heart disease.

Chrish Perera, Regional Head of Volunteer Fundraising wanted to thank all readers who have signed up to become a Heart Hero with the British Heart Foundation this June.

It doesn’t need to stop there, for more information call: 0300 456 8353.

The Louth branch is currently in desperate need of stock; any donations given by the public would be greatly welcomed.

It is also looking to recruit more gift aid donors whereby the shop can claim a further 25 per cent from the Government from every donation.
