Internationally known textiles artists, authors and tutors Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn are to visit Louth.
They will give a talk on Friday May 10 from 7pm at Monks’ Dyke and run two workshops over the weekend of May 11 and 12.
Known around the world for their textile art and creative workshops, Jan and Jean will talk about the sources and variety of techniques used in their work. Their work results from prolonged observation recorded in sketchbooks and developed into stitched pieces helping demonstrate that you can see the same things but express them visually in very different ways.
Both are members of the internationally renowned 62 Group of textile artists.
Louth Textile Group say they hope people will support the events.
