The judging route in Louth for East Midlands In Bloom next month has been revealed.
The judges, who will be in town on Thursday July 16 between 9am-11.30am, will go from the Park Avenue Youth and Community Centre Gardens to St James’ Church.
Their route will take them via Trinity Allotments, Trinity Community Centre, War Memorial, Eastgate, Queen Street (via Burnt Hill Lane), Market Place, New Market Hall, New Street, Broadbank, Ludgate, Nichol Hill and Little Eastgate.
Special thanks goes to the members of Louth Men’s Shed who are making obelisks to promote the Insire500 events. Thanks also goes to the RHS for the provision of poppies and nasturtiums for the ‘Make a Grey Corner Green’ national theme, and also to the Louth Independent Traders group who have got on board.
• A community tidy-up will take place in Louth’s Market Place on Tuesday evening (June 30) between 6pm and 8pm, weather permitting. Just turn up on the day if you wish to volunteer.
