KATHLEEN Margaret Winter (née Parkinson) died aged 90 at The Elms Care Home in Louth on July 31.
She was born in Somercotes and is the widow of Harold Winter.
She is survived by two sisters, Mary Soar and Betty Norton.
She ran a home-made cake/sweet shop, where Via Italia is now in Upgate, Louth, with husband Harold in the 1950s.
She also helped to run their property business.
She served in the ATS during the Second World War and was stationed at Didcot, Oxfordshire.
The funeral was held at St James’ Church, Louth, on August 11 conducted by the Rev Sue Oliver.
Funeral directors were J Marshall, Market Rasen.
