THREE vehicles were damaged following a collision this morning (Monday) as heavy fog made visibility poor on many roads.

The accident happened at 7.50am at the junction of the Three Bridges Lane, Saltfleetby St Peter, and the B1200.

Police say a Landrover and a Peugeot 306, driven by motorists from the Louth area, and a Vauxhall Astra van driven by a man from outside the area, were involved but there were no reported injuries.

“All three vehicles were recovered, an ambulance attended as a precaution but no one was taken to hospital,” she said.

“The road was closed for just over an hour. The cause of the accident is yet to be estblished but the poor visibility caused by this morning’s heavy fog has been logged.”
